  • Application questionnaire
  • Foreign state issued valid passport and a copy of the given passport
  • Six (6) color photos (35 x 45 mm)
  • Birth certificate and a copy of the given certificate
  • Marriage certificate and a copy of the given certificate (if there has been a change in the last name)
  • Passport of the spouse and the Armenian translation of the given passport (if there has been a change in the last name)
  • Birth certificate of the child and the copy of the given certificate, or the Armenian passport of the child or the parent and the copy of the given passport, or any other proof of Armenian citizenship (if the application to obtain the citizenship of the Republic of Armenia is submitted under the 4th clause of the requirements listed hereby)
  • Any of the following documents confirming the Armenian descent (ancestry) of the applicant: 1. A certificate of baptism containing a record of the baptized person’s Armenian descent, issued by any church organization listed in Appendix 4 of the N 1390-N Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia from November 23, 2007 and validated in accordance with the requirements listed in the mentioned Decision. 2. Document with a clear indication of the applicant being of Armenian descent, issued by the competent authorities of a foreign state and verified either with an apostille or undergone consular legalization 3. Birth certificate or another Identification document of a parent (or a grandparent, a blood sibling) that contains a record of the Armenian ancestry of the mentioned next of kin
  • Documents listed under point “C” of the previous clause should be accompanied by documents proving the kinship of the applicant with the person of Armenian descent (listed under point “C” of the previous clause), issued by the competent authorities of the respective state
  • A non-citizenship certificate of a stateless person and the copy of the given certificate
  • A Convention Travel Document of a refugee
  • Documents confirming the residence status or the lawful residency of the applicant in the Republic of Armenia and the copy of the given document
  • Receipt for payment of the required state filing fee
  • If required, additional documents might be requested
