- Two colour passport sized photographs not more than 6 months old
- Current passport and full copy of all previous passports (current passport must be valid for at least 12 months)
- Signed letter of application with details (as specified)
- Sponsor’s status or eligibility to sponsor (proof of Irish citizenship/residency where applicable)
- Evidence of claimed relationship (e.g. marriage certificate, civil partnership certificate, birth certificate)
- Evidence of finances for applicant and sponsor (bank statements, employment/self-employment records)
- Evidence of dependency (if claimed)
- Medical or travel insurance (may be required at entry)
- Details of previous visa refusals (with original refusal letters)
