Key takeaway: No government publishes a ranking of the “easiest” countries for Egyptians, and how hard a route is depends on your qualifications, job offer, languages and savings. The official pages read for this guide show that most work routes start with an employer: the UAE portal says the employer must apply for the standard work visa, and GOV.UK says the Skilled Worker visa needs a confirmed job offer. Germany’s Opportunity Card lets people from outside the EU look for work in Germany for up to one year, and Italy’s 2026-2028 quota decree names Egypt among the countries with reserved places for non-seasonal work.

Why no route is simply the “easiest”

Each country sets its own conditions, and the same route can be open to one person and closed to another. None of the official pages read for this guide ranks countries for Egyptian citizens, so this page reports what each page says and leaves the comparison to you. The routes below are grouped by where the process starts: an employer, a job search, a quota, or a points pool.

United Arab Emirates: the employer applies

The UAE government portal says a foreigner can get a normal employment visa, valid for two years and renewable under the conditions set by the visa-issuing authorities, and that the employer must apply for the standard work visa. The same page points skilled workers, freelancers and self-employed people to the separate Green visa.

Germany: looking for work with the Opportunity Card

Make it in Germany, the Federal Government portal, describes the Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) for people from a country outside the EU or EFTA who want to come to Germany to look for qualified work. Without a qualification recognised in Germany, the applicant must have completed vocational or academic training with a qualification recognised in the country where it was obtained, score at least 6 points in the points system and show German at level A1 or English at level B2. Every applicant must show enough money for the job search, for example a blocked bank account holding at least €1,091 net per month (the amount applicable in 2026). The card is first issued for a maximum of one year, and part-time jobs totalling 20 hours a week are allowed while searching.

Germany: the EU Blue Card with a job offer

For a job offer that matches an academic qualification, the portal says the job must pay a gross annual salary of at least €50,700 (as of 2026). People who obtained their last degree less than three years ago, and people employed in a shortage occupation listed by the portal, can get the card with at least €45,934.20 (as of 2026), with approval from the Federal Employment Agency. The same page says EU Blue Card holders can obtain a settlement permit after 27 months with German at level A1, or after 21 months with level B1.

Italy: quota places that name Egypt

Italy’s decree of 2 October 2025 on work-entry quotas for 2026, 2027 and 2028 (Gazzetta Ufficiale, Serie Generale n.240 of 15 October 2025) lists Egypt (“Egitto”) among the countries whose citizens have reserved places for non-seasonal employed work. Article 6 sets that reserve at 25.000 entries in 2026, 25.000 in 2027 and 25.000 in 2028 for the whole group of listed countries, not for one nationality, inside an annual non-seasonal quota of 76.200 (the decree writes thousands with a full stop).

The Ministry of Labour’s page on the decree says it sets the calendar for applications made by employers, so these places are used through an Italian employer, not by applying alone.

United Kingdom: Skilled Worker visa

GOV.UK says the Skilled Worker visa lets you come to the UK to do an eligible job with an approved employer, that you must have a confirmed job offer before you apply, and that the visa can last for up to 5 years before it needs extending.

Canada: Express Entry

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) says Express Entry is the online system it uses to manage applications from skilled workers, with 3 programmes: the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. Candidates create a profile, enter a pool, and IRCC invites the candidates with the most points in rounds.

Working holiday visas: Egypt is not on the lists read

Working holiday and youth mobility visas depend on agreements between two countries. Germany’s Federal Foreign Office lists working holiday programmes with Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan and Uruguay. IRCC says International Experience Canada needs a youth mobility agreement between Canada and the participant’s country, and Egypt is not in the country list on that page.

What the official pages used here do not cover

The pages read for this guide are silent on the points below. Silence is not a rule: ask the issuing authority.

  • Saudi Arabia: no official Saudi programme page was quoted for this revision, so no Saudi route is described here.
  • How long each application takes for an applicant in Egypt, and the total cost of each route.
  • Whether a specific Egyptian degree or professional licence is recognised in a given country.
  • How many of the Italian quota places go to Egyptian citizens: the decree sets one reserve for the whole list of countries.
  • The outcome of any individual application: each authority decides case by case.

Corrections in this revision

The previous version included statements without sufficient direct support. This revision removes:

  • A list of Saudi Arabian visa names linked only to ministry home pages, without a quoted programme page.
  • Golden visa and investor programme names for the United Arab Emirates and Italy, which the official pages read here do not support for this audience.
  • Links for a German post-study job-seeker route and the EU Blue Card that pointed to pages no longer online.
  • An Italian job-seeker visa and other Italian programme names linked only to ministry home pages.
  • Canadian programme names listed without any fact from the official pages.
  • Language labels per country, which did not come from a cited source.
  • A header line claiming a count of programmes and countries that this page does not demonstrate.

Questions before acting

Which country is easiest to immigrate to from Egypt?

No official source ranks countries by ease for Egyptian citizens. The pages read here show different starting points: an employer application in the UAE, a points-based job-search card in Germany, reserved quota places in Italy, a confirmed job offer in the UK and a points pool in Canada. Which one is realistic depends on your qualifications, languages, savings and job prospects.

Can Egyptians go to Germany without a job offer?

Make it in Germany describes the Opportunity Card as a way to come to Germany to look for qualified work. It needs a qualification recognised in Germany or, on the points route, a vocational or academic qualification recognised in the country where it was obtained, at least 6 points, and German at level A1 or English at level B2; every applicant also needs proof of funds.

Is there a working holiday visa for Egyptians in Germany or Canada?

Egypt is not among the countries listed on the Federal Foreign Office working holiday page or on the IRCC International Experience Canada page read on 23 October 2026.
