What records are central to proving the lineage or historical connection?

For a Pakistan Origin Card application based on former Pakistani citizenship, NADRA's official services charter identifies an old Pakistani registration document, such as a Pakistani passport or MNIC, and a foreign passport among the records used to prove the connection with Pakistan. NADRA's current POC page confirms that a person who is no longer a Pakistani citizen but held citizenship at any time may apply. The charter does not specify which combination of historical documents NADRA will accept in an individual case.
