Company Participant or Manager Residence Permit

Lithuania's business residence permit is the Migration Department's temporary-residence category for a foreigner who is a **participant (shareholder/partner) and manager, or a qualifying shareholder, of a company registered in Lithuania**.

the applicant must be either the manager of the company or a shareholder of an AB/UAB whose shares have a nominal value of **not less than one-third of the authorised capital** and not less than EUR 14,000

the company must already have carried out the activities described in its founding documents **for at least the last six months** before the application, in accordance with a business plan

the company must employ **full-time staff who are Lithuanian citizens, citizens of another EU/EFTA state, or foreigners permanently resident in Lithuania, whose combined monthly wages equal at least twice the national average monthly gross wage**

Business plan; premises documents (e.g. lease); up to ten agreements evidencing commercial activity; any required licences or permits; bank statements, invoices and cash orders; and accounting records such as the ledger and transaction log

The company's **equity must be at least EUR 28,000** (for entities that are not AB or UAB, the test is applied to assets); **at least EUR 14,000 of that must be the applicant's own invested funds or other assets**

for AB/UAB this must be shares with nominal value ≥ EUR 14,000, and for IĮ, MB or TŪB a contribution (cash or assets) of ≥ EUR 14,000

the company must employ **full-time staff who are Lithuanian citizens, citizens of another EU/EFTA state, or foreigners permanently resident in Lithuania, whose combined monthly wages equal at least twice the national average monthly gross wage**
