What exact activity, role or purpose qualifies?

The visa is issued to a missionary intending to visit the Kyrgyz Republic for the purpose of cooperation with religious organisations.

See recorded sources

What organisation, institution, religious body, charity, teacher or host must support the activity?

The checked official sources did not provide enough route-specific evidence to confirm the host organisation or sponsor required.

See recorded sources
Limits of the record
  • The Religion visa (type "R") entry names the missionary's purpose (cooperation with religious organizations, used in this via's R1 box) and a permit from the authorized state body for religious affairs (used in R3). Neither is a host that must support the activity: the first is the purpose, the second is a government permit. Searched the page for host, sponsor, inviting organisation and religious-organisation-registration wording: nothing states a required host.

What proves the placement, role, affiliation, experience or cultural/religious/voluntary activity?

A permit issued by the authorised state body for religious affairs is required.

Limits of the record
  • the source names a state permit; it does not list documents proving affiliation, placement, ordination or previous religious experience

Can the person receive salary, pocket money, accommodation, meals or reimbursement? Can they undertake other work?

The checked official sources did not provide enough route-specific evidence to confirm whether pay, pocket money, accommodation or other work is allowed.

Limits of the record
  • Searched the whole page for salary, stipend, allowance, board, lodging and remuneration wording: none. The page carries an explicit 'no right to work / no entrepreneurial activity' clause for the Business ("B"), Sapar ("J") and Foreigner's family ("FF") visas but NOT for the Religion ("R") visa, so nothing was carried across into this box.

How long can they stay, can they change host/activity, can family accompany, and can the status be extended?

The Religion (R) visa is valid for up to 60 calendar days. The official source does not state extension, change of host or activity, or family accompaniment.

See recorded sources
Limits of the record
  • no extension rule is stated for this visa
  • the source does not say whether the missionary may change host or activity
  • the source does not state whether family may accompany a Religion ("R") visa holder

These are the answers currently recorded in the catalogue. A missing or partial answer is not an eligibility decision.
