Temporary card valid for a maximum of 1 year, renewable if the issuing conditions are still met; after the first temporary card a 4-year multi-year card may be requested, subject to republican integration (French A2, civic exam, unless over 65); the temporary card cannot be renewed more than 3 consecutive times on the same ground.
