Limits of the record
  • The page describes no sponsor role: it does not state whether the foreign spouse must hold any Afghan immigration status, sign an invitation or act as guarantor.
  • The page does not say whether the foreign spouse or children can be included in, or derive a visa from, this route.
  • Primary legislation checked 2026-09-22 in the Ministry of Justice laws database (laws.moj.gov.af): every instrument on foreign nationals' travel and residence (incl. Gazette 1185 of 2015 and its 2018 amendment, Gazette 1302) is listed with status 'ملغی' (abrogated), and no in-force (نافذ) IEA-era law, decree or procedure on visas or foreigners' residence was found; the abrogated texts are therefore not cited.
