  • Must have married, registered partners, or cohabiting partners, or plan to enter one of these relationships
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Must have able to show that you have plans to settle in Sweden together
  • Must have the requirements to get a residence permit
  • Must have lived together for at least two years
  • Must have lived together for at least one year
  • Must have able to prove your identity
  • Must have outside Sweden in order to be granted a residence permit
  • Must have able to prove your identity, for example with a national passport
  • Must have interviewed and present your passport
  • Must have assembled the documents you will need to attach
  • Correctly made copies of your child’s passport
