Documents
- Visa application form duly filled in and signed
- Recent passport-style photo (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm or 1”3/8 x 1”3/4, full front and white background)
- Passport or travel document valid at least three months over the planned stay in Italy and a photocopy of relevant pages
- Current student ID and a copy
- One way flight reservation
- Pre-enrollment documentation validated by the Italian higher education institution
- Original secondary school diploma (or higher degree as relevant) with legal recognition or comparability statement
- Certified Italian translations of relevant documents
- Letter from host institution in Italy confirming enrollment and accommodation details
- Proof of accommodation (rental agreement, declaration of hospitality, or university residence confirmation)
- Proof of financial means of support (various methods specified)
- Letter from insurance company stating medical expenses, hospitalization and repatriation coverage of at least 30,000 euro
- Personal Money Order for the visa fee, addressed to Consulate
