Press accreditation

“Foreign journalists applying for a visa to enter Italy must apply for accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through the Press Accreditation Portal ... complete the online form, and upload a letter from the Editor-in-Chief confirming the appointment, specifying role and duration, after which a unique identification number is issued and must be communicated to the diplomatic mission.”
