Documents
- Three (3) completed Immigrant Status forms A1 certified by a Justice of the peace or a notary public (adults)
- Two (2) completed Immigrant Status forms A1 certified by a Justice of the peace or a notary public (under 16)
- Applicant’s original and copy of Birth certificate
- If married to a Barbadian the applicant is required to submit the Barbadian's birth certificate
- The marriage certificate must be produced if either persons were previously married or in the event of death or divorce the appropriate certificates must be produced
- The standard medical report for persons over 16 and for those under, a general health certificate is required
- Medical X-rays report form for forms completed outside Barbados
- Certificate of Character from the Police of each country lived in for at least 6 months in the past 3 years
- Four (4) photos, one certified by a Justice of the Peace or notary
- Letters from schools attended in Barbados, with period of attendance
- Proof of qualifications
- Letter of employment
- Affidavit for discrepancies in names
- If legal custody of the child was awarded to another, relevant documents
- Translated transcript for certificates in a foreign language (official translation)
- If under 18 and forms signed by non-parent, notarized letter of consent from parents, with notary stamp or seal
- For applicants setting up a business: detailed cover letter, location, certificate of registration or Articles of Incorporation, proof of finances, proof of funds brought to Barbados, evidence of means of support, income and proof of property if over age 60
- Copy of bio-data page of applicant's valid passport
