What education or training is this pathway designed for?

F-1 (Academic Student) is for full-time study at an SEVP-certified college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, elementary school, or other academic institution, or in a language training programme. The programme or course of study must culminate in a degree, diploma, or certificate, and the school must be authorised by the U.S. government to accept foreign students.
