A Scale-up Worker visa holder can work in the sponsored job for at least 6 months, leave the sponsored job after 6 months, study, bring their partner and children as dependants if eligible, take on additional work including becoming self-employed, do voluntary work, travel abroad and return to the UK, and apply to settle permanently after 5 years if eligible. The holder cannot apply for most benefits or work as a professional sportsperson.
