The Uganda Tourist Visa is a single entry visa and can be granted for up to 3 months. The visa approval authorisation is valid for 90 days (three months) from the day of approval; after that it is automatically cancelled and a new application is needed, so applicants should travel within three months of approval. The initial period granted at entry may be extended for another 60 days in 2 intervals. The official source does not state a rolling-period rule.

Application documents include a recent passport-size photograph, passport bio-data page, Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, recommendation letter and police clearance (list not exhaustive).
