This route is labour-market access for people in the Turkish protection system: international protection applicants and status holders, and Syrians under temporary protection. The Presidency of Migration Management states that applicants and persons with international protection status can work in Türkiye within the framework of Article 89(4) of the Law. UNHCR Türkiye states that the most common work permit types for this group are for wage employment and for self-employment.
