This short-term residence permit purpose covers foreigners who will attend a Turkish language course.
10-Foreigners who will attend a Turkish language course;
The applicant must enrol at an institution authorised to provide a language course in Turkish, which must have permission from the Ministry of National Education. The institution providing the course is responsible for reporting the commencement and attendance of registered foreigners to the Provincial Directorate.
Residence permit can be issued maximum twice for this purpose to the foreigners who enroll to institution authorized to provide language course (must have permission by Ministry of National Education) in Turkish.

10-Foreigners who will attend a Turkish language course;
A residence permit can be issued a maximum of twice for this purpose. If the period of the course is less than a year, the residence permit duration cannot be longer than the period of the course; otherwise the general short-term maximum of two years each time applies. A short-term residence permit is refused, cancelled or not renewed where one or more of its conditions are not met or no longer apply, where it is used outside its purpose, where there is a current removal decision or entry ban to Türkiye, or upon violation of the rules on periods lived outside Türkiye. The official source does not state post-study work or residence options.

- it is established that the residence permit is used outside the purposes of those it is issued for,
- there is a current removal decision or an entry ban to Turkey in respect to the foreigner,
- upon violation regarding the period which is lived outside of Turkey
