What education or training is this pathway designed for?

This is not a course: it is the year after one. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that foreign students are allowed to extend the stay in Thailand for 1 year after graduating. It belongs to the Non-ED Plus arrangement, which the Ministry describes as facilitating international students studying at universities in Thailand at the bachelor's degree level or above, so the education that leads into it is a Thai university programme at bachelor's level or higher.

Limits of the record
  • The infographic does not say whether graduates of programmes below bachelor's level, or graduates who held the ordinary ED visa rather than Non-ED Plus, can use this year.

What type of institution/course must accept or enrol the applicant?

The institution is the Thai university or institution the student graduated from, at bachelor's degree level or above. The infographic gives institutions a formal role in the immigration process during study, stating that universities and institutions will submit the visa extension application on behalf of the students, but it does not say whether the institution also files the post-graduation year or whether the graduate applies alone, and it directs further questions to the Thai Immigration Bureau.

What are the most important financial or study-related conditions: tuition, funds, insurance, full-time study, attendance or equivalent?

The only study-related condition stated is having graduated: foreign students are allowed to extend the stay in Thailand for 1 year after graduating. The official source does not state any tuition, funds, sponsorship, insurance or fee condition for this year.

Can the student work? Under what major restrictions? What is the family position where clearly stated?

The purpose of the year is explicit and it includes looking for work: graduates may use it to seek employment, travel or participate in other activities. Taking a job is a separate step, not something the year itself authorises: a graduate who is employed is eligible to apply for a new type of visa in Thailand, and the infographic routes that through the Thai Immigration Bureau, marking the Non-Immigrant "B" as needing a work permit from the Ministry of Labour. Nothing in the infographic addresses family accompaniment during this year.

Limits of the record
  • The source does not say whether the graduate may work during the year itself before changing visa type, and states no family position.

How long does the status last, how is it renewed, and what officially documented post-study work or residence possibilities exist?

The stay is one year after graduating. If employed, the graduate is eligible to apply for a new type of visa in Thailand, with the Non-Immigrant "B" route requiring a work permit from the Ministry of Labour. The official source does not state whether the year can be renewed, what happens if no job is found, or whether any period of study plus this year counts towards permanent residence.

Limits of the record
  • The source does not state whether the one-year post-graduation stay can be renewed or what follows if the graduate is not employed.
  • No settlement or permanent-residence consequence is stated.

These are the answers currently recorded in the catalogue. A missing or partial answer is not an eligibility decision.
