Which travellers require a transit visa/permission and which officially documented exemptions are important?
Transit is one of the purposes covered by the ROC Visitor Visa, for foreign nationals who intend to stay in Taiwan (ROC) for no more than six months. Travellers eligible for an eVisa do not need to apply for one if they do not leave the international transit area of the airport in Taiwan.
