An approved employer must offer qualifying intermediate skilled or technical work.
- Prior immigration or residence status
The standard experienced-worker gateway requires six years in the qualifying foreign-worker sector and the applicable same-employer or sector conditions.

The employer must obtain the intermediate skilled or technical work permit.
