What type of worker, employment situation, occupation or professional activity is this pathway actually designed for?

For foreign nationals moving to Spain within an employment or professional relationship, or for vocational training, with a company or group of companies established in Spain or in another country; they need the visa matching the transfer duration and an intra-company transfer residence authorisation valid throughout Spain. The national modality applies in cases not covered by the EU ICT modality, or once the maximum EU ICT transfer duration has elapsed.

The applicant needs a higher qualification comparable to level 1 of the Spanish higher-education framework or at least three years of comparable professional experience.

    Titulación superior equiparable al menos al nivel 1 del Marco Español de Cualificaciones para la Educación Superior, correspondiente al nivel 5A del Marco Español de Cualificaciones para el Aprendizaje Permanente, o conocimientos, capacidades y competencias avaladas por una experiencia profesional de al menos 3 años que pueda considerarse equiparable a dicha cualificación.

Intra-company transferees are among the categories whose spouse or partner in an analogous relationship, minor children, economically dependent adult children who have not formed their own family unit, and dependent ascendants may apply jointly and simultaneously or subsequently for the authorisation and, where applicable, the visa, provided the requirements set out in the preceding paragraph of that article are met; family applications filed together with the main applicant's are decided at the same time.
