Can the student work? Under what major restrictions? What is the family position where clearly stated?

Language-training D-4 holders may apply for part-time work permission after residing at least 6 months since entry or change of status; work is limited to simple jobs usually done by students and depends on attendance, GPA and status. Some D-4 trainees who stayed less than 2 years cannot invite spouse and children unless there are humanitarian reasons. Self-funded D-4 students of middle-school age or younger can invite accompanying parents as F-1.
