Which travellers require a transit visa/permission and which officially documented exemptions are important?
B-2 is for persons granted entry without a visa (under visa-waiver/reciprocity arrangements) for tourism, transit, etc., as designated by the Minister of Justice. Under the Tourists in Transit programme, nationals of listed countries (e.g. Syria, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt) must obtain a visa.
