What work does the permission allow? Is the holder tied to an employer, occupation or sector? Can family accompany where clearly established?

The permit specifies a job: the related long-term employment visa holder may only work for the approved sponsor in the job specified in the work permit, and changing sponsor requires a new application and a new work permit. The official source does not state whether family members may accompany the holder.

Limits of the record
  • Stated on the long-term employment visa form, not on the work-permit page; family accompaniment is not addressed for the permit itself.

How long is the permission normally granted for, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction exists if officially stated?

Work permits are renewable; renewal requires the form, the fee receipt, the original permit and, for workers, a report on compliance with the original permit conditions. The official source does not state the initial duration or a longer-term residence direction.
