The applicant must have sufficient means of subsistence for the stay in Slovenia and appropriate health insurance (general conditions), a study residence permit from another EU member state valid for the whole intended stay, proof of acceptance by a Slovenian institution, and proof of participation in a mobility programme. Issued for the duration of mobility set in the mobility programme or the institution's certificate, but no longer than 360 days and no longer than the study permit issued by the other EU member state; afterwards the student must leave Slovenia or obtain another appropriate residence permit. The permit is not intended for long-term residence. The official source does not state whether the permit can be renewed.
