02Does the applicant need a job offer, employer, sponsor, transfer relationship or other employer involvement? What is important about that employer relationship?
The work is linked to a specific fixed-term appointment. The official current healthcare notice requests expressions of interest and CVs from suitably qualified professionals; joining that pool is not itself a job offer or immigration permission. The Administrator separately controls permission to land and stay.

But those planning to visit Tristan not under such auspices may have to undertake this procedure at their own cost.
04What work does the permission allow? Is the holder tied to an employer, occupation or sector? Can family accompany where clearly established?
The appointment is for the identified fixed-term professional or specialist work. Permission to stay may carry conditions set by the Administrator, who may amend or revoke it. The sources examined do not establish an automatic family-accompaniment or independent family work right attached to this appointment.
