How long is the permission normally granted for, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction exists if officially stated?
No later than ten working days before twelve months from the patent issue expire, the holder may apply to the issuing MVD territorial body to reissue the patent. A reissued patent runs for one to twelve months; it can be repeatedly extended for periods from one month, with a total term including extensions of no more than twelve months from reissue. It is deemed extended for the period for which the fixed advance personal income tax payment has been paid, without applying to the MVD bodies.
