What education or training is this pathway designed for?

This route covers foreigners already holding a valid study visa or long-stay study visa issued by another EU Member State, who may enter and remain in Romania for up to 360 days under student mobility, without needing a separate Romanian visa.

What type of institution/course must accept or enrol the applicant?

The student must attend courses of a higher education institution under EU or multilateral programmes comprising mobility measures, or under an agreement between two or more higher education institutions. The higher education institution must send a notification to the competent territorial structure of the General Inspectorate for Immigration at least 30 days before the courses start, including a letter of acceptance issued by the accredited higher education institution.
