What type of worker, employment situation, occupation or professional activity is this pathway actually designed for?

Limits of the record
  • The only sentence tying short-term mobility (90/180 days) to professional activities for the Polish employer is already used by work_seo.r2/r4, so this box does not restate it; the source names no specific occupation for the mobility itself.

Does the applicant need a job offer, employer, sponsor, transfer relationship or other employer involvement? What is important about that employer relationship?

The applicant must have an employer in Poland for whom they carry out professional activities in the other EU Member State during short-term mobility.

Limits of the record
  • The source does not describe any job offer, sponsor, transfer relationship, or other employer involvement beyond the existence of an employer in Poland.

What are the few decisive professional characteristics of the pathway: occupation, qualifications, experience, salary, skill level, shortage status, labour-market condition or equivalent?

Short-term mobility is a right attached to holding the Polish EU Blue Card, which rests on higher professional qualifications obtained from completing higher education studies or from professional experience. During it, the holder carries out professional activities in the other member state for the employer in Poland.

Limits of the record
  • The source does not describe the host Member State's own conditions for short-term mobility.

What work does the permission allow? Is the holder tied to an employer, occupation or sector? Can family accompany where clearly established?

Using short-term mobility (90/180 days) in another EU member state, the holder may work without needing a work permit if they carry out professional activities there for their employer in Poland. The official source does not state whether the holder is tied to a specific occupation or sector, or whether family can accompany the holder during short-term mobility.

How long is the permission normally granted for, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction exists if officially stated?

The underlying Polish Blue Card permit is granted for a period 3 months longer than the period of employment, from more than 6 months to 3 years; it is not renewed automatically and a new permit must be applied for before expiry. Short-term mobility covers 90/180 days; after 12 months of legal stay the holder may, with family, move to another EU country under long-term mobility. Stays in other EU countries on a Blue Card can be summed towards EU long-term resident status, with the last 2 years immediately before applying spent in Poland.
