Participation in an exchange programme through Biologisk-Dynamisk Forening (the Biological-Dynamic Association) or Atlantis' 'Working Guest' scheme; full-time work on a farm or at a nursery as part of the family on the farm, with day-to-day farm duties and acquiring knowledge of Norwegian agriculture and culture; no more than 35 hours per week; minimum pay of NOK 600 per week after tax, plus food, accommodation and the return ticket paid by the employer; an employer cannot employ more than three working guests at the same time.

No more than 35 hours per week, with at least one and a half continuous days off per week. Family members cannot apply for a family immigration permit to come and live with the holder in Norway.

How long is the permission normally granted for, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction exists if officially stated?

The permit can be granted for a total of three months. After holding this permit, a new permit can only be granted after three months' stay outside Norway, unless UDI guidelines provide otherwise; the permit does not form a basis for permanent residence.
