This route is for foreign nationals offered employment in Nigeria under an approved Expatriate Quota.

An employment contract is required. The employer or institution files a formal application accepting Immigration Responsibility (IR); the company applies to the Ministry of Interior for an Expatriate Quota and obtains quota approval (and an acceptance letter to sponsor the applicant).
