This route is for foreign clerics taking up a long-term religious appointment in Nigeria.

Does the applicant need a job offer, employer, sponsor, transfer relationship or other employer involvement? What is important about that employer relationship?

An invitation or contract from a religious institution in Nigeria is required. The religious institution applies to the Immigration Service for the R6A pre-approval letter; the authority letter is received and forwarded to the Nigerian Embassy.
