The student may work part-time up to 25 hours a week while studying and full-time in holidays, depending on visa conditions; full-time work in scheduled holidays requires a course with a value of 120 credits; students aged 16 or 17 at a tertiary provider, or in years 12 or 13 at school, need permission to work; students aged 15 or younger cannot work. Partner and dependent children cannot be included in the application but can apply for visas based on their relationship to the student.
