The participant must be a student or have graduated less than 12 months ago, and must be registered for a study programme or hold a university or university-of-applied-sciences degree obtained no more than 12 months ago. The internship lasts at most 1 year. The employer must be established in the Netherlands and registered with the Chamber of Commerce where required. The official source does not state a quota, ballot or previous-participation rule.

Your employer is registered in the Commercial Register of the Chamber of Commerce (in Dutch: Kamer van Koophandel or KvK). This applies only if your employer must register under the Commercial Register Act 2007 (Hrw 2007).
Your employer is a company, organisation or official Dutch branch of a foreign company, established in the Netherlands.
