What education or training is this pathway designed for?

This route is for specialisation, vocational training or practical training of a foreigner. It can also be issued to a foreigner with a higher-education qualification for graduate-trainee professional training, or to a foreigner studying in another state for the practical training needed to obtain a higher-education qualification.

What type of institution/course must accept or enrol the applicant?

A competent authority, institution or other legal person in Montenegro must confirm that the specialisation, vocational training or practical training has been approved. For the graduate-trainee or foreign-student variant, the applicant must also attach, besides that confirmation and the programme, proof of the education level and qualification obtained in the two years before applying, or proof of the obligation to do practical training to obtain the higher-education qualification.

What are the most important financial or study-related conditions: tuition, funds, insurance, full-time study, attendance or equivalent?

The general conditions apply: means of support, provided accommodation and health insurance. The traineeship or practical training must follow a programme containing: a description, goal and phases; the duration of the traineeship or practical training; the number of training hours; the method of implementation and its supervision; and the rights and obligations between the trainee/student and the employer.
