How long is the permission normally granted for, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction exists if officially stated?
IGM publishes a route-specific list of documents to extend teaching, culture, health or sport worker provisional residence. For non-EU applicants, the documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorised stay ends; the IGM page specifies at least 15 days for EU citizens. Missing the deadline may incur administrative penalties. IGM describes a separate general permanent-residence application after five years of provisional residence for otherwise qualifying foreigners; this is a separate application with housing, state-language and criminal-history conditions, not automatic progression from this work permit. The IGM permanent-residence page instructs applicants to file its documents 90 days before their existing permit expires, a different timeline from temporary-residence extension. The teaching/culture/health/sport extension list includes a valid passport and current residence permit, competent sector authority consent, individual employment contract and housing proof.

Limits of the record- The captured IGM category page does not state this temporary permit’s exact grant/renewal duration or route-specific loss rule. The permanent-residence page is general guidance; individual qualification and any later legislative amendment remain to be checked.
