This pathway is designed for IT specialists: foreigners with special competencies essential for developing or producing technologies, techniques, processes, procedures or management in information technology, who carry out the activities listed under Article 8 of Law 77/2016 on Information Technology Parks, for a company resident of the Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP).

The IT Specialist route concerns a foreign professional with special competencies essential to developing or producing technologies, techniques, processes, procedures or management in IT who performs activities listed in Article 8 of the Information Technology Parks Law for a Moldova Innovation Technology Park resident company. The beneficiary must maintain the employment contract and the special-law minimum salary and notify GIM of changes in employer, address or position. A family-reunification application is possible under Article 38 when the sponsor has a valid residence permit, can support family members and submits translated/apostilled evidence of the qualifying relationship and other required documents. Family permits cannot exceed the sponsor permit.
