What work does the permission allow? Is the holder tied to an employer, occupation or sector? Can family accompany where clearly established?
The permit authorises the young professional to take up employment in Mauritius, and the application is made by the employer. A holder may change employment before the permit expires. The PIO page states the employer's business activity must fall within Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Fintech, Robotics, Financial Services or Information Technology. Dependants of a young professional are excluded from the residence-permit category for dependants of occupation permit holders.
