Which nationalities and age range can participate?

This facility is for an international student currently studying a degree or equivalent at a recognised institution abroad, placed with an ESD-registered company. No universal age range or nationality entitlement is stated; stay eligibility depends on nationality.

What funds, insurance, onward travel or similar preparation is particularly important?

Participants must provide a passport with six months validity and six empty pages, copies of all pages, an institution study-status letter, host offer with dated acceptance and a detailed internship schedule. A visa-required national must obtain a Single Entry Visa before travel. The TalentCorp support letter is not immigration approval; funds and insurance levels are not specified.

    1.6 For country requiring visa, program participants will have to apply for visa from the nearest Malaysian Embassy / Consulate / High Commision (only applicable for country requiring visa). Program participant can use the TalentCorp support letter for reference when applying for visa. Nevertheless, the approval is subject to the discretion of offcer in charge.

It cannot be deemed as an approval letter and is subject to Immigration Malaysia visa and pass requirements.

How long can the person stay, can the programme be extended or repeated, and what happens when it ends?

The maximum is three months but a shorter nationality-based Social Visit Pass duration controls. The participant must leave when the programme ends or the pass expires; no extension is allowed. A longer programme requires a PVP application, not automatic conversion.
