The residence permit entitles a stay of up to five years where the intended stay lasts longer than one year; an extension is possible if there is no ground for revocation or expulsion. The official source does not state a longer-term residence direction.
1) Die Aufenthaltsbewilligung berechtigt zu einem Aufenthalt von bis zu fünf Jahren, sofern der vorgesehene Aufenthalt länger als ein Jahr dauert.
3) Eine Verlängerung der Aufenthaltsbewilligung ist möglich, wenn kein Widerrufs- oder Ausweisungsgrund vorliegt.
3) Das durch Auslosung erworbene Recht auf eine Aufenthaltsbewilli- gung ist höchstpersönlich und nicht übertragbar. Es erlischt, wenn es nicht innert einer Frist von sechs Monaten ab Empfang der Benachrichtigung wahrgenommen wird.
Bewerber, welchen eine Bewilligung zugelost wurde, müssen spätestens nach fünf Monaten dem Ausländer- und Passamt den Einreisetermin bekanntgeben und die im Bedarfsfall angeforderten Unterlagen einreichen. Bei Nichteinhaltung der angegebenen Frist wird der Verzicht auf Erteilung einer Aufenthaltsbewilligung angenommen.
