What education or training is this pathway designed for?

The route covers foreign students studying at Jordanian educational institutions. The Ministry operates a study entry-visa service and a separate annual study-residence service, both for those institutions' foreign students. What type of institution/course must accept or enrol the applicant?

Only Jordanian educational institutions may submit the study-visa and annual study-residence applications for their foreign students. Proof of student status is required for both stages. For the visa application the student must be outside Jordan. The annual-residence service excludes students holding nationalities exempt from the Residence Law; the official source does not state the complete exemption list.

What are the most important financial or study-related conditions: tuition, funds, insurance, full-time study, attendance or equivalent?

Both the study-visa and the annual study-residence applications require proof of student status. The official source does not state tuition-payment evidence, a maintenance-funds amount, health insurance, full-time study, attendance thresholds or other ongoing academic conditions.

How long does the status last, how is it renewed, and what officially documented post-study work or residence possibilities exist?

The residence service is expressly annual and includes issuance and renewal by the Jordanian educational institution. A renewal requires the student's previous residence permit. Residence approval must be used within six months from approval; the entry visa or approval is usable for its own stated duration. The official pages do not establish post-study work, job-search status, permanent residence or citizenship progression.
