What education or training is this pathway designed for?

This route is for full-time study: the applicant must be able and intend to follow a recognised full-time degree course of no more than 5 years at a publicly funded further or higher education institution, or a full-time course of study at a fee-paying school; applicants under 16 must be enrolled full time at a fee-paying school outside the wholly maintained sector.

The applicant must be able to meet the costs of the course, accommodation and maintenance for themselves and any dependants without relying on employment beyond permitted student work, business activity or public funds. One listed weekday degree course requires at least 15 organised daytime study hours per week. The official source does not state an insurance requirement.
