If permission is required, what permission is it, where/how is it obtained, and what core onward-travel evidence is required?
Where a person holds a passport of a country whose nationals require a visa to enter Jamaica, the person must apply for a visa at the Jamaican consular post in the country where they live or the nearest consular post; having a visa does not grant the right to enter, as the immigration officer at the port of entry has final authority. Transiting travellers should ensure they have a complete flight itinerary which clearly indicates their connecting flight(s) to the intended destination.

Limits of the record- The consular-post rule is MFAFT's general visa rule, not a transit-visa-specific rule; no transit-visa-specific document list, fee or processing time is published on the pages read.
