Which exceptional-talent, academic, scientific, artistic, technological, cultural or other profiles does the pathway target?

The route targets foreign experts arriving in Israel for short periods of up to 90 days to perform a temporary or provisional task; the category is capped at up to 300 permits, a cap not applying to recognised high-tech companies paying at least twice the average wage.

What achievements, recognition, awards, publications, reputation or other evidence establishes the required level?

The employer attaches the expert's resume and relevant diplomas, degrees and certificates showing education, qualifications, experience, reputation and/or expertise; an expert is a foreign worker with a unique expertise not available in Israel.

Yes. An Israeli employer applies for the permit; for experts from visa-exempt countries the employer submits the online request only after the experts enter Israel and no later than two working days from their arrival.

The expert may not work in any other sector while in Israel. Family: generally accompanying family members are not allowed for up-to-90-day experts, although if the permit specifies a profession requiring higher academic education the Authority may consider allowing them.
