The C10 covers meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions, or similar activities, as a speaker, lecturer, presenter or influential person; holders may also travel as tourists and visit friends and family. Holders may receive remuneration, wages or similar from individuals or corporations in Indonesia but may not work in an employment relationship with them.

What maximum stay, rolling-period rule, validity and entry rules apply?

The visa allows a single entry with a stay of up to 60 days counted from the date of arrival, which can be extended several times up to a maximum of 180 days. The visa is valid for 90 days from issue; if not used in that period, a new visa is needed. Visa validity differs from the length of stay.

What important funds, accommodation, invitation, insurance, onward-travel or passport evidence may be required?

Required evidence includes an application letter and sponsor's statement; a valid travel document with at least 6 months' validity (12 months for travel documents other than a national passport); proof of living costs in Indonesia as a bank statement for the last 3 months in the name of the foreign national or sponsor of at least USD2000 or the equivalent in another currency; a recent colour photograph; and an invitation letter from the event organiser setting out the agenda and the lecture or seminar material. Stateless persons and holders of non-national travel documents must also attach a re-entry permit to the country where the visa was applied for and a return or onward ticket. Where/how is permission obtained when required, and under what important circumstances can a stay be extended or changed?

The sponsor must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id and, after logging in there, applies for the C10 visa; the fee for a 60-day stay (extendable) is Rp. 2.000.000 (visa fee Rp 1.000.000 plus Verification I fee Rp 1.000.000), and processing takes five working days after the visa payment is received. The stay permit can be extended online by the sponsor through the registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id, several times up to a maximum of 180 days, and can be converted into a Limited Stay Permit with the same sponsor.
