The pathway is designed for employees of an internationally operating group or company who are employed abroad in the German part of the group or company, where the activity is absolutely necessary to prepare foreign projects, the employee will be working abroad during the implementation of the project, and the employee has skills commensurate with those of German skilled workers and, in addition, possesses particular, especially company-specific, specialist knowledge.

    Approval may be granted to engage in employment of up to three years for 1.  foreigners who have a higher education degree or comparable qualification in the context of the exchange of staff within an internationally operating company or group, 2.  for employees of an internationally operating group or company who are employed abroad in the German part - of the group or company if the activity is absolutely necessary to prepare foreign projects, the employee will be working abroad during the implementation of the project and has skills commensurate with those of German skilled workers and, in addition, possesses particular, especially company-specific, specialist knowledge.
