What work does the permission allow? Is the holder tied to an employer, occupation or sector? Can family accompany where clearly established?
For a model or professional assistant (such as a hairdresser, make-up artist or photographer) hired directly by a French or foreign employer for over three months, France-Visas requires the employment contract and an employer-applied work authorisation, and describes a long-stay visa serving as a residence permit valid for up to 12 months. A holder of the relevant salaried/temporary-worker VLS-TS or residence card may work only in the authorised salaried activity; a work authorisation is required for each new contract. The cited route guidance does not itself establish a special family-accompaniment entitlement.
