This route may be granted to foreign nationals under the administration, control and supervision of Gendarmería de Chile in the circumstances listed by the authority.

Where the person is subject to one of the substitute penalties established in Law No 18.216, or is on conditional release under Decree Law No 321, the application must be managed by the sentenced person directly before the Servicio Nacional de Migraciones (SERMIG), through the Digital Procedures Portal, logging in with ClaveÚnica or with an account created for that purpose.
