Nominated Applications (Applications with a Job Offer, Express Entry & Occupations In-Demand)
If your application has been approved, we will send you and/or your representative a nomination package by email that will include:
A SINP Nomination Approval Letter;
A SINP Work Permit Support Letter (if applicable);
Information on how to proceed with an application for Permanent Residency (PR) with the Government of Canada; and
A Conditional Nomination Instruction Letter (if applicable).
The SINP may issue conditional nominations. If your application has been conditionally nominated, you will be given a deadline to submit requested documents to maintain your nomination certificate. Failure to submit required documentation or meet the conditions of your nomination will result in your nomination being withdrawn.
If you are nominated with a job offer and do not already work for the supporting employer, you will be nominated with the condition that you apply for a closed T13 work permit within 90 days of your nomination and that you begin working for your employer within 90 days of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) approving your work permit application.
We will notify IRCC of your nomination. You must submit your application for PR to IRCC within six months of being nominated by the SINP. If you are conditionally nominated, the SINP may advise IRCC to hold the processing of your permanent residency application until you meet the conditions of your SINP nomination.
IRCC will also conduct an assessment of your application including health, security and criminal record reviews before issuing visas to you and your accompanying family members.
