What type of worker, employment situation, occupation or professional activity is this pathway actually designed for?

An employer applies for a Standard Permit for a person already employed by a global company in another jurisdiction to transfer to the Bermuda office, without having to advertise the position. The company must show the permit holder is not being transferred to fill a pre-existing position in Bermuda.

Applications are automatically approved for individuals employed for more than one year who earn a gross salary greater than $125,000 per year. Applications for individuals employed for less than one year and/or earning less than $125,000 are considered case by case, and approval depends substantially on showing that the transfer adds value to Bermuda.
